Realistic times, that seem unrealistic.

I knew I was overdue for a blog, but I just didn’t know what to write about.  I kept thinking and thinking of what I could write about, and I could not decide on one thing. I had many thoughts on what to write about, but none of them seemed to fit my mood for what I wanted to write about.  I looked around, thought some more and I soon got a spark.  I had an idea! I’m going to write about how important peoples’ words mean to me.  Growing up, I would come home from school and be really upset because “my friend called me stupid” or “they said they didn’t like my shirt I had on.”  I usually always got the response I’m sure everyone has heard “ Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt.” I don’t necessarily agree with that statement. Words do leave an impact on people, whether they are nice words, or hurtful words, it will always leave an impact. As I grow up, I realize that more, and I always think of that before I say something.  As I’v...

We got up on Wednesday, took a shuttle to the main Vancouver airport. I of course was hoping to find a Starbucks for the wait and the duration of the flight, I ended up being successful! I tried a new drink, so I needed to get a small drink to make sure I liked it of course! Soon enough an  iced chai tea latte with vanilla cold foam was in my hands! It was delicious! We took another shuttle to the small south Vancouver airport to board our plane for Bella Coola! As the minutes were getting closer to our boarding time, I was getting more and more excited as the time was coming very soon so that I could see my uncle Stephen! It didn’t feel real!  Now, it was only a matter of minutes.  We feel the plane getting lower and lower, knowing that we were going to be landing in Bella Coola! On the way down, we were admiring the beautiful scenery. I never expected a small isolated town to be this beautiful! I was amazed by the views! I was so excited to explore more!  Lo...

Tamworth to Toronto… and beyond!

‘Twas the day we had our flights booked! We arose from our beds earlier than I had anticipated. I rolled out of my warm bed, got dressed, and got ready for our big day.  We got in the truck, that was covered in frost, and made our way to Petro Canada in Napanee. Waiting for the Megabus to take us to Toronto. While waiting, I decided to go into the gas station store, and take a look.. but it wasn’t just a look. I bought chips and gummies for grandpa and I on the plane.  We got on the bus sat heavily in our seats, and waited for the bus to stop at Toronto Pearson Airport. As we were making our way to Toronto, we saw a few accidents on the other side of the barrier. We were hoping that the snow wouldn’t be as bad getting closer to Toronto.  We arrived in the out skirts of Toronto, the snow wasn’t bad.. but the traffic was! We were waiting patiently to get to the airport as we’re driving 10 km/h on the 401!  As we started to approach the airport, we saw more and mo...
